Well said Linsy ... to all others, just ignore his
postings. I print out a lot of questions and answers as
I read and try to learn from others. Everyone else seems
very helpful. When I print out questions and answers, I
just highlight and delete the retards remarks. I don't
even waste my time reading his/her/its??? postings.

This brings up an important question: What is the best way to ignore
people like Perdita? My solution is to create a filter to eliminate
him/her.

In Netscape 7.1, the procedure is to select the message from the person
you wish to ban, open the Message menu and select 'Create Filter from
Message'. Then check the boxes 'Delete the Message' and 'Ignore Thread'
and click OK. This does have the small disadvantage of eliminating from
view any responses from others. Most users here are probably using
Outlook or Outlook Express where the procedure is similar.

Another Question: Do newsgroups like this one have Terms of Service like
AOL so nasty people can be banned?
