Howdy;
What the %#$@ is this folfer and how can I delete it?
Also, does anyone know of this folder being installed with
a third party software application?

I think it's the recycle bin (hence the name recycler). You don't delete it.
Xp needs it. It's showing cause you choose to have xp show you protected
system files. If you turn that option off in folder options, you won't see
the recycler folder.

It's the recycling bin, and is a necessary system folder - you don't delete
it.
