Dear friends;
Some time ago I mistakenly clicked onto a popup which i
am unable to delete permanently. It comes up every time I
turn on my puter. When I right click on the icon there is
an 'exit' bar but no delete bar hence it always comes
back to me just like a boomerang. I hope some1 out there
can help me.
regards

Greetings --
To deal with any sort of "adware" and/or "spyware," such as
Gator, Comet Cursors, Bonzai Buddy, or KaZaA that you've deliberately
(but without understanding the consequences) installed, two products
that are quite effective (at finding and removing this type of
scumware) are Ad-Aware from www.lavasoft.de and SpyBot Search &
Destroy from http://security.kolla.de/. Both have free evaluation
versions. It's even possible to use SpyBot Search & Destroy to
"immunize" your system against most future intrusions. I use both and
generally perform manual scans every week or so to clean out cookies,
etc.
