You can quickly fix this by simply reinstalling MSN Messenger 6.x from here:

I've tried several times to reinstall from the download
site, each time with no success. While I'm not Drew, I'm
having exactly the same problems. I also added my own
post under "MsnMsgs.msi" I too cannot find that file
anywhere.
If you could send a reply to my email, that would be
great. Thanks.
