New XP machine and install. When originally set up,
would start up and go directly to desktop. Now always
stops at welcome/1 user screen and makes me sign in. How
can I bypass this and go straight to desktop upon start?
Thx

Wollin,
Use Control Userpasswords2 method.
Configure Windows XP to Automatically Logon:

Still had problems. But another post directed me to
Tweak UI auto login, which worked. Many thanks for your
help!
