first cd tray

I have two areas for cd's to go the top tray and bottom
tray the top tray will not open up when i try to put a
cd in to download pics off a cd--the 2nd one is ok what
is wrong

Jerri,
Try double clicking 'My Computer', then right click on the drive letter and
select 'eject'.
If that works, it may just be the facia button linkage is broken. Very few
places will repair an item like that,
and you may have to replace the drive if the tray doesn't operate at all.
