Can someone tell me how I can see how many messages I
have in my outlook mail under my user name when I log on?
I used to have it there but now it's not. How do I put it
back on there?

If this is after they're downloaded, the in the number should be displayed
in the Status Bar just above Taskbar. If not downloaded, doubt it.
I wager you are trying to cut down on the junk mail. Look at Message
Rules>Mail in Tools. I set up ones with subject line containing specific
words for deletion from server and am still adding words. But the spammers
are figuring this out and not using the words anymore :( I'm now
considering the rule allowing ONLY mail from designated people/businesses as
it's so bad. I'll shut up at this point...
