xp home to pro upgrade on new toshiba Satelli A15-S127

It hangs and then i have to drop the battery to get out -
put when i start it back up it goes back to the
install... I'm stuck, can anyone help? It says 35
minutes left... notebook is new 2 days ago we only
connected a new laptop "mini-nouse"...

Suggestions?

Why on earth didn't you buy one with Pro already installed if that is
what you wanted?
