I need help re: installing and uninstalling programs

I have recently installed several programs and have
Partition Magic but need more space in the partition
where I have most of my programs for some of them to
perform correctly. Actually I need to unpartition, and
then redo it after my husband installs additional hard
drive space. But I fear since I've done this already more
than once that if I go through the process again, that XP
won't like it and will freeze my windows. Does anyone
have any info about that? Thanks, Kathy

The only way you can use Partition Magic to make room in a
partition is if there is another partition with free space.
Otherwise, Partition Magic cannot do anything until you install
the new hard disk.

Before doing anything with Partition Magic, you should back
up your data. There is always the possibility that things may go
wrong!
If there is another partition with free space, you can use
Partition Magic to either merge the two partitions together, or
reduce the size of the other partition and move the freed up
space to the partition you want to make bigger.
