View Full Version : Windows Messenger 4.7 for Exchange

Signing in to .NET messenger servive failed because the
service is not compatible with this program.

Any idea why I am getting this message? It works with
Exchange within my network and used toi work on .NET but
now wont sign in.

Greetings Chris,

As of October, only new(er) Messenger clients are allowed to sign into the .NET Messenger
network. This includes versions of 4.7 prior to 4.7.2003. As such, if you wish to connect
to the .NET Messenger network, you'll need to upgrade to Windows Messenger 5.0 (which
supports .NET Messenger, Exchange and SIP-based communications services/Live Communication
Server 2003). You can find it here:
