Hi guys, this started just last night and it is really annoying! It seemed to start after i ran adaware and spyboy search and destroy. Every time i type a message then hit send, the chat window with that person freezes up for about 7 seconds, and then fina
lly goes through. It does this in both AIM and msn messenger. I have ran adaware and spybot before and never had this problem so i dont think that is it. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling instant messenger and that doesnt help. I have ran a virus
check and windows update, and that doesnt help. My internet is dial up and it seems fine also since all the webpages are loading just as fast as normal. My computer isnt left on for long periods of the day either without being used. I read that other topic
about this same problem but not sure if i understood what he did to fix it. My system is a 2.0 ghz, 512 ram, gforce4 mmx 64 mb vid card. I also have not done anything to modify either program.
another interesting twist..when im typing a message, and the person im talking to enters a message, the window freezes for a second also.
