sound and vision

I have just had to 'upgrade' from my lovely win 98 to xp.

I am very disappointed with the small options of
screensavers, far fewer than 98 and rather old hat now,
and also the sound effects for closing, start up etc.
before we had lots of themes to choose from like robot or
jungle, and I was expecting more, not less. The same goes
for samples of music and video clips. There were loads on
98. Where can I get many more of all of these options for
Xp ? And why are they not provided in such good quantities
now?

I also canot get my larger fonts to stay that way, Every
time I change a page on the web, use email or look at Help
& Support , for example, I get realy tiny fonts which I
find hard to read even with my glasses on. Can anyone help
with this please?
