Numberlock stuck on

Can't get numberlock off by pressing numberlock key or
any combination of shift, ctrl, alt + numberlock. I'm
using a Thinkpad. Help please!

I don't know about thinkpads, but on most of the laptops I have owned you
would enable or disable this using the function (fn) key in conjunction with
the numlock key.
