I don't have a direct answer to your question (i.e. I can
install fonts fine). One thing to keep in mind, there are
different font files for the regular, bold, italic,
biold/italic versions, When you go to Word you going to
see a SINGLE font entry for all these, and you are to
toggle between these with your bold and italic icons.
