I have been a long time user of Windows 98 and recently
moved to XP. At times the system deletes a message from
my in-box that I don't want deleted. This seems to happen
after I have deleted a message and then move the mouse.
Also, the system will page down at times if I move the
mouse down but have not told the system to page down.
There must be a control somewhere in the Preferences
file, but I haven't found it. Any ideas?

What email software are you using? Windows doesn't do any predictions like
this - it's possible that either your keyboard or mouse are sending messages
inappropriately.
