I just got a new computer with XP Pro installed. It
freezes all the time. I'll be clicking on Control Panel,
it freezes. I'll be moving the mouse, it freezes.

PLEASE HELP. What is the solution?

Thanks.

Try using Event Viewer to see if any particular program or service is
causing the problem - here's the windows help notes: 'Using Event
ViewerEvent Viewer maintains logs about program, security, and system events
on your computer. You can use Event Viewer to view and manage the event
logs, gather information about hardware and software problems, and monitor
Windows security events.
To open Event Viewer, click Start, click Control Panel, double-click
Administrative Tools, and then double-click Event Viewer.
For information about using Event Viewer, in Event Viewer, on the Action
menu, click Help.
For more information, click Related Topics'
With a new machine causes of freezing could be hardware or software related.
If you are not sure of how to troubleshoot problems, it may be best to have
the vendor check it over while under guarantee.

You say that it is a new computer. Why tinker???
Return it to your place of purchase.
