View Full Version : My backspace and enter key no longer works...

When I highlight text and hit the backspace or enter key
the highlighted text no longer erases. When I hit the
backspace key the cursor goes to the front of the
highlighted text. When I hit the return key it moves to
the back of the text.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what's wrong and how to
fix it? I'm not a computer person so please make the
instructions explicit.

Thanks so much in advance.

Perhaps its time to buy a new keyboard. I suggest the Microsoft Office
Keyboard. It has great key action, many extra function keys, and only costs
about $39. It will give you years of useful service.

### NOTE ###
Any advice I give is MY opinion, formed through trial and error or
thoughtful research. There are zillions of ways to do things with
computers. YOUR way may be better. But MY OPINION is still MY
OPINION. I have a right to it, just as you have a right to yours.
If I'm wrong, point out my error, then move on. I try hard not
to be wrong, but I miss it sometimes, like we all do. If you don't
like that, perhaps you should move to Nazi Germany,
where all Neo-Facists get their starts.

I'm not sure how it could be a problem with the
keyboard. Something still occurs when I hit the button.
It's just not the right thing.

Any other ideas?
