View Full Version : Connecting two computers through the parallel port

Ok I have two computer one running XP home and One
running XP pro. I want to sare some files between them.
I have the two computer connected through a direct
connect using the parallel port. But now what; both
computer say they are connected. But I cant figure out
how to send things back and forth.

I tried that exact same setup for a week and I never did get the DCC to
work. I spent $10.00 on a nic card.
And the ethernet practicly set itself up when I turned them on.
