I have fitted a Ricoh MP5240A-SK DVD +RW and can play a
DVD but cannot write to it. In My Computer it shows a CD
RW (works ferfectly fine) in my D drive. In my E drive
the DVD Rom is displayed. If I open up Explorer and
Program Files and downloads I find that the E drive is
not shown. There are TWO D drives ?? In hardware there is
shown I have a CD driver and the DVD driver.
At this time I have the Sony 32*/10*/40* CD Rom connected
as a Secondary Master and the DVD +RW 4*/4*/8* ( Rom
24*/10*/40*) connected to the Secondary Slave. No
connections are to my Primary motherbord connector. I
have the Maxtor Hard Drives ( Primary 20 Mbs ) and (
Secondary 80 Mbs) fitted to a Ultra ATA/133 Dual channel
controller.
Can anyone help me get my DVD *WR to work please.
