1st problem: every time i try to use the internet, i get
an orange message that pops up on my toolbar that is
labeled .NET Messenger. when i open it, it sez: You are
running a version of messenger that requires an immediate
security update. Please visit
http://messenger.msn.com/Help/Upgrades.aspx to complete
the update.
when i visit that site and try to do what it sez, i go in
endless circles and get nowhere. is this an xp problem,
an aol problem or a windows problem? i don't believe i
am even using msn - whatever that is!
2nd prblem: i have had xp and this new computer
(gateway) for about 7 months. i was just browsing thru
the xp booklet that came with it and it sez i need to
activate XP. when i did what it said: go to Start>All
Programs>Activate Windows, i cannot find "Activate
windows" - is this because I have already activated it?
