Not remembering Passwrods

I had to change my hard drive because of hrad drive
failure. Now that everything has been reinstalled I do not
get any prompts from I.E. or Windows to remember my
passwords when I go to sites that require a password. Can
somone HELP. Thank you. Jeff.
