slow login

after i get to the welcome screen and click on my name it
takes an extorinary amount of time untill i get to my
desktop. can anyone help?!

Go to STart menu->Run->msconfig->Startup
and check what applications are running during startup
you can uncheck one by one and restart your computer.
and you will be able to figure out what service is taking time to load.
