How to Transer movies to my PC

I am new at this and I need to know what equipment I need
to purchase to transfer my movie from my Zr65 Mini dv
camcorder to my Dell P4 PC?

I would appreciate anyone that can tell me what do I need
to purchase. My PC has Movie Maker 2 but I am having
problems transfering the movies to my PC. Do I need to
buy a cable that goes from camcorder to PC?

Yes you need a fire wire cable. I use Pinnacle, cause it don't cost as much
as Premiere but will do the whole production. From the camera to the final
DVD to play on your home player. Get ready to eat up massive hours learning
this art.
