View Full Version : Now What! Need help with Desktop Icon & its 'Open'

Suddenly, now when I double-click on a desktop folder icon called
'programs' that I created many moons ago, and which contains several
individual program folders, I get a 'search window'. I want the
standard WE window with panels on left and right showing the content
of wherever the mouse selection is.

I notice when I right-click on the desktop folder, the pulldown menu
has search at the top. I don't think that menu was that way before.
I think 'open' was at the top.

What happened? How can I get things back to what they were?

Thanks

See "Search Companion Starts If You Double-Click a Folder"
