system restore question

Just recently my system restore is not working properly,
Dont matter what date i go back to it says something
like....system restore was unable to go back because of
no changes to your system have been made. I have checked
the the obvious things. Any help from anyone would be
great.

If your restore points become invalid or corrupt, system restore will fail
to take you "back in time." Resetting System Restore clears out all of the
restore points. Start with a fresh slate and fresh restore points. To do
this:
Disable System Restore in System Properties.
Restart the computer. Enable System Restore.
