I am using Windows xp home on a Dell Inspiron 8000. I
want to use my Panasonic Plasma screen TV as the monitor.
I want the entire desktop to appear on the TV not just
extend the notebooks screen onto it. Any help would be
greatly apprectiated. Thanks

When I connect my Dell Dimension 8300 to my Panasonic 42" plasma, I just
need to set the TV's aspect ratio to either Full or Justified and I get the
whole picture displayed as 16 x 9 on the TV.

from control panel>display properties, make the second monitor (yout TV) as
the PRIMARY display. there is an option there.
