View Full Version : Wrong number of Messages at Startup

When I start my computer, I get to the select user
screen. Under each user name I get a number of messages.
This number is the same as the America Online account I
have on the computer. This is very annoying because I
want to have the number of e-mail messages from Outlook,
not AOL. AOL's robot tech support was useless. Is there
any way to change this?
Thanks, Danny --

Yes, dump AOL.

Hi Danny,

Check your settings here:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\
UnreadMail\[Your E-Mail Address]. In the right pane modify: Message Count,
Change it to 0.
