My WinXp Home Edition has lost the ability to print images after doing so
perfectly for a year and a half. Doesn't matter which printer I use; my root
Lexmark Z12, the default Fineprint 2000 program or Adobe Acrobat Distiller.
To my novice mind it doesn't seem possible that settings for all three print
options could go off whack.
What terrifies me is that I have 8 years of work suspended: a book on my
family history chock full of images, embeded and otherwise, that have
yielded perfect copies in the past, either for Word or Pdf files. I have
Windows 2000 and keep all my images in the My Images folder; and I cannot
even print directly from them either. Could it be one of the umpteen XP
security patches I have downloaded? I've heard they sometimes create bugs.
