I have successfully installed Windows XP over ME, but
cannot see MS office 2000 programs that I had on my PC
before. I have located them in a folder called "Office",
but none of the programs (Word, Excel, Access) start any
more. An error say use Setup to install the programs.
Please advise.

Just reinstall from your Office CD.
It looks like you did a clean install and not an upgrade so the files are on
the disk but the registry etc needs to be corrected.

Greetings David,

Get the Microsoft Office 2000 CD and reinstalling the Office applications.
That might do the trick ;)

Jose Francisco

If you had run the Upgrade Advisor, it would have informed you that you
would need to re-install some programs. The MS Office suite being one of
them.
