After new successful instalation of Windows XP over
Windows ME, I dont see and MS Office programs that I had
on my PC before installing Windows XP Home Edition. The
programs are no more under the Start Menu. They do exist
under the folder "Program Files, Office", but when I try
to start any program, I get the message saying use Setup
to install the program. Please advise. Thank you.

Just reinstall from your Office CD.
It looks like you did a clean install and not an upgrade so the files are on
the disk but the registry etc needs to be corrected.

Greetings Javed,

Get the Microsoft Office 2000 CD and reinstalling the Office applications.
That might do the trick ;)
