Strange hotmail prob

Hello all

On my windows XP Pro PC I have messenger installed and it works fine but
when I goto hotmail.com my computer seems to hang for a few seconds on every
new page I visit at hotmail.com.
example:
1 I click on the messenger link when I have a new email.
2 The page loads fine then it hangs for about 5 seconds.
3 Then its fine, but if I click on an old email the page loads but then it
hangs for another 5 seconds, then its fine until I visit another page.

This only happens with hotmail and no other pages.

This could be the result of Windows Messenger trying to load but failing -- have you disabled
Windows Messenger (especially with any policy or registry edit)? If not, then simply try a
reinstall of Windows Messenger:
