Frameworkservice.exe takes over my computer

Folks,
Does anyone know what this application is for? From time
to time it just takes all my CPU power and the only way
to kill it is to do a restart ;-(

Don't have that file here (running XP Pro SP1). From google search results,
it would appear that the file is a part of McAfee's software.
