internet loss

I have windows xp pro running on my system with a braodband
connection. If I hang around too long on a web page it
loses the connection on my web browser, but not on aim or
msn,I have tried a new modem and the same thing happens any
ideas?

Is this a specific web page that you lose connection?

Also, what do you mean by msn? There's a web page that's www.msn.com and, I
believe MSN also provides ISP service - i.e., you would connect through MSN
to get to the web/internet.
