Please EMAIL your answer, for reasons that will be
apparent:
I have noticed that since yesterday evening, most of the
posts to this forum are not getting through and appearing
on the forum. Right now, the latest post I see is 5 hours
earlier than the actual time, and posts are MUCH fewer in
number. This is a busy forum, so what is going on? I
managed to get one post through last night, out of 8
attempts. I am not on a network. The problem began when I
was not using the computer.
What could be happening?

try using a Newsreader instead of the web access.

The CDO Interface isn't the best way to read NGs.

Candace,
To view newsgroups with only a few minutes delay normally, open Outlook
Express, click 'tools' then 'newsgroups'.
In the top window, (display newsgroups that contain) enter 'microsoft
windows xp', and a list will appear in the lower window panel. Click 'go to'
or 'subscribe'. You can click 'go to' and browse a newsgroup, and you will
be prompted if you want to subscribe when you exit.
All your subscribed groups will refresh whenever you open OE in future.
Hope this helps,

Nothing. You are using a web interface for your newsgroup newsreader
("Microsoft CDO for Windows 2000") instead of a good one such as Outlook
Express.
(Will she see my post? I doubt it.)
