Removing the initial screen

I noticed that, when booting up the new PC's, the black BIOS settings screen no longer goes to the screen.
BIOS: Award Software, Inc. ASUS A7V ACPI BIOS Revision 1011 04/23/2002
XP Pro is the OS

Does anyone know if it's a BIOS or OS option and how to eliminate the BIOS screen?

Open the BIOS and make adjustments in the boot options.
