I have all new Dell equipment. I followed all
instructions to enable the printer but failed. I have
tried all the remedies recommended and failed. Here's
the problem: I get to the last page of the sequence to
enable the computer, and click to print a test page. The
computer does not respond, and I get this message: The
printer attached is not a Dell A10 PrinterA... But it IS
a Dell A10 printer. In researching this problem, I found
an article (can't relocate it ;( ) indicating there can
be a problem with Microsoft that causes this difficulty.
Can anyone suggest a solution? Dell says it's a printer
problem, but I don't think so. Thanks.

I responded to this last night... according to the Dell US and Dell UK
websites, there is no such thing as a Dell A10 printer. I asked where in
the world you were since you use the CDO interface, I have no way of
telling.
