Hello, Not sure this is the right place to ask but here goes.
I have been experiencing a lot of problems lately with crashes on my computer, A blue screen appears with all kinds of messages and numbers saying it is dumping my physical memory. Everything then freezes on the computer the only way out of this is to swit
ch the computer off via the on/off switch.
When I reboot a message comes up telling me the computer has just recovered from a serious error and if i would like to automatically report it to microsoft which i always do. Another screen pops up then telling me i can view the cause of the problem if I
wish. The only info this screen gives when i look into it is that a device driver has caused the error and reinstalling it may remedy the fault, it goes on to say it might be the modem or the virus protector, even the firewall may be at fault, in fact it c
ould be any driver on the computer.
This is where the problem starts, I have no idea about computers and have even less idea as to where to look to find out what driver is at fault, can someone please let me know with step by step instructions of how i can find the faulty driver, (if indeed
it is tha cause of the problem) and how to rectify it. I have not installed anything new on the computer this problem has only just occured without warning, it only happens when i go onto the internet or onto web based games, I have also scanned my compute
r numerous times with a virus check and nothing has come up. If anyone requires more info to try to help me please let me know.
Many thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope someone can be of assisstance to me.

A Google search on 768_1 showed the following link with the same problem
and some possible fixes.

I get this code every day. Every day I report it to Microsoft. Every day I wonder what it means and how I can ever find that out. Does anyone know who, where, how, whither or whence I can ever hope to figure out what this code means?
Many thanks in advance for even the least hint of place I could try next.
