deskjet 712c printer & scanner scanjet 3300c down loaded new driver for printer still wont work scanner worked one time sense upgrade no idea why nothing wants to work with xp .

If this is for an XP operating system there is no DJ 712c driver to down
load. You have to load the basic driver off of the Win XP CD.

Are you trying to connect them piggy back fashion? XP does not support this
method... change one to USB connection.
