Is there a 'best' way of going online? I am using the the
desktop icons for Internet Explorer and Outlook Express
with a left click. It seems to work but is using one
better than the other?
A friend has smaller icons down near the 'Start' at the
bottom left of his screen and thinks using these is
quicker.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Rufus,
The desk top icons need to be double clicked (though you can change that to
single click (My Computer>Tools>Folder Options >General) while the quick
launch area of the taskbar takes but a single click as standard.
There might be a few milliseconds of difference. And it may delay the onset
of Repetitive Stress Injury by an hour or so.
Also it might allow you to delete the desktop icons and reclaim a few square
centimetres of desktop area.
Until the day the quick launch toolbar disappears :)
