Go to your Start menu, select run, type in msconfig. When
they program starts up, select "Startup" then uncheck the
programs you do not want to Boot up at startup.. It will
require you restart the computer. When you restart a
popup will tell you that you have reconfigured, select
dont tell me again. No more kasa, messenger etc.. booting
up automatically. You can still start these programs
manually via the "Start/My progams" menus as usual.
