MONITOR RESOLUTION

Since i installed XP Pro the screen resolution changes on
start-up; I have to change it back to 600x800 every time
How do I lock the setting?

Machine is an IBM Aptiva P3 668 MHz with 256 ram. Have
tried Microsoft site and checked software updates and
all looks OK

Ibm tell me it is either a driver or video card problem

Bottom of screen has always flickered horizontally since
new

Sean,
Do you know what video card you have?
If your not sure do the following:
1. Click the start menu
2. Click on "run"
3. Type "dxdiag" and press enter
4. Click on the "save_all_information" button
5. Save the file to your harddrive and send us your dxdiag.txt
