File and folder tasks window

On the desktop window, the file and folder tasks side
window does not appear anywhere after clicking in My
Computer and choosing a file to copy to a CD.

Please help.

Lucia, XP has given you a number of different options for the pane on the
left. To see them and set the view as folders:

>>View
>>Explorer Bar
>>Folders

Maddening, isn't it?
