I'm trying to install my Mustek 1200 USB+ scanner and get
an error msg "This driver is not digitally signed" - what
does this mean and what do I have to do?

Toni,
Basically it means the software has not been tested and approved by
Microsoft, and is not part of the 'trustworthy computing' initiative.
If it's USB the chances are it will be OK to go ahead and install it, then
check the manufacturers website for any updated software.
But I'd be tempted to do that first to be sure it is XP compatible, and
maybe see if there's new software available since the install CD was
manufactured.
