I have a problem. I have recently been doing alot of work
from home and I have some information that I need to
access and add to which has been saved on discs at work
from word 97. The problem is I run windows 2000 at home
so I can not get files open as windows 2000 says it needs
to be formatted. Can you please help I have lots of work
I thought I would be able to do from home but are not
having much luck.
Thanks in advance for any info
Kylie

Are you saying that when you pop a floppy into the drive on your Windows
2000 system you get an error that tells you that the floppy needs to be
formatted? If so then you either have a problem with a bad floppy or your
floppy drive. Try copying your files to a different floppy and see if it can
be opened at home. If the problem persists it might be due to the floppy
drive a work having heads out of alignment or the floppy drive on the
Windows 2000 machine at home.

Can you e-mail the files home to your self?
