Microphone problems...please help

Hi. I am trying to have an audio conversation, but the
microphone will not work. When i speak to it, my voice
will come out through the speakers. It is correctly
plugged into the mic jack. It worked once a while ago,
but for some reason it will not work now. Please,
somebody help me.thank you

There are adjustments you can make from the speech folder in the control panel.
