Hi y'all
When I try to do a clean install of windows XP the installation doesn't see
the disks in my hard drives.
Does anybody have an idea how to fix?

Do they show up in the bios?
Are you using IDE or SCSI drives? and what motherboard are you using?
(The board manufacturer may have drivers for it.)

Hi SunSpot,
My bios sees the drives. There are no updates on the soyo kt400 mother board
site. In the mean time I reinstalled windows ME. Will put back XP when I can
get this all figured out.
Thanks for your reply.

That board has a HighPoint controller.
With some of thoses controllers, you have to create a driver boot disk.
During the install, very early on, you will see a prompt to load scsi or
third party drivers (press F6).
At that point it will ask you for the driver disk. Use the disk you made and
just follow the onscreen instructions. The drivers for your board are
available on Soyo's website.
