Trouble Installing Many products

I'm having trouble installing products, such as Works
Suite 2002, McAfee virus scan, and a few of the programs
from the Update page. It seems to be missing a
networking file from somewhere and I can't seem to be
able to find it. But within the errors it keeps telling
me "can't find folder.....AllUsers...." I know I have it,
I've seen it, but the computer can't when installing.
PLEASE HELP!!!! I need these programs.

Those products are installed from CDs or from a network
server in a corporate LAN. If you are trying to do updates
from the various web update sites, XP requires you have
administrative privileges to do updates or installations.

The following MS Knowledge Base article discusses this error message and
contains a suggestion to fix the problem:

"Error 1606. Could Not Access Network Location <Common Administrative
Tools>.All Users\" Error Message When You Install a Program
