Just installed XP home addition. How do I now copy files from ond CD to another CD.

Windows does not support this. You could copy the contents of CD1 to
the HDD and then use the CD burning tool to copy them to CD2. For to
copy the CD directly, you need third-party software.

Does your CD writing software have "make an exact copy" as one of its
options ? If so, insert CD to-be-copied in the CD writer tray and go from
there. If not, copy the contents of the source CD to the hard drive in a
folder you KNOW they're in. Then insert a blank CD in the CD writer tray,
locate the above-mentioned folder using the CD writer software, and copy it.

Not even if you have 2 physical CD-RW drives?

This would also copy the data on the HDD temporarily, because the data
for to write on a CD is cached on the HDD when you use the internal CD
burning tool.
