Have configured 10 computer in a small network
neighborhood through Lynsys router. printer is directly
connected to the one of win98 machines (via lpt port) and
been shared. All other computers(with OS 98) been
connected to same router can see and print to this printer
but the system with OS XP-Pro can't even see the printer..
Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Can the XP PC see the 98 PC with the printer? Can it see the other 98 PCs?
Is it on the same workgroup as the 98 PCs? Is the firewall disabled on the
XP PC?

It's perfectly useless to know the right answer to the wrong question.
