Hi, I am unable to edit a file type in the folder option.
The buttons to edit or delete are not available. Any
suggestions as to how to make them available?
The reason I wish to do this is I made a change to my
folders so that I could print a directory of a folder (per
instructions on microsoft "help" file..and now when I
attempt to open a file it does a "search instead". It
doesn't help to make the open the default...still does the
same....thanks for your help!

You have been given the correct answer. However, what happened in your case
is clearly mentioned in the steps toward this edit.
